The Approach

The STWT planning approach to be followed is a coordinated and inter-related set of instructional activities. These activities require attention to student-interest and preferences, and the involvement of multiple contributors developing competencies and skills through:

  • school-based curricula and technical and vocational education
  • work and volunteer-experience
  • knowledge of, and access to related services to support transition during and beyond school; as well as
  • community partners and stakeholder-engagement
Successfully bridging the gap between education and employment is a crucial milestone in one’s life,
marking the transition from school to work.
